# Files: Anti-Malware Scanning

Please be aware that the Enate solution does not provide additional anti-malware scanning of file attachments uploaded or ingested by the service. 

Customers should ensure that their sources of file ingestion (incoming Emails and manual uploads to Work Items from staff laptops etc.) have adequate malware scanning capabilities in place prior to a file being presented to the Enate platform.
