# Files: Anti-Malware Scanning

Please be aware that the Enate solution does not provide additional anti-malware scanning of file attachments uploaded or ingested by the service.&#x20;

Customers should ensure that their sources of file ingestion (incoming Emails and manual uploads to Work Items from staff laptops etc.) have adequate malware scanning capabilities in place prior to a file being presented to the Enate platform.
